For many years the Partners and staff at Fylde Law have lent our support to a number of charities, which are close to our hearts and to the communities in which we live. We see it as a natural extension of our day-to-day working lives and the principles upon which our firm was founded.
Whether it be giving free legal clinics at the local Citizens Advice Bureau, visiting our sick clients in their homes, working without charge for our needy and vulnerable clients, or donating money to worthy causes, we feel we have a duty to utilise our skills and resources for the benefit of both our local community and the community of the whole world in which we live.
With these aims in mind, Warings have chosen to
help three specific charities in 2013 and to build on the thousands of pounds
donated by us to these charities in the years preceding. Our chosen charities are:
Action Medical research for Children is a charity for children that was founded in 1952 and which is focused on saving and changing lives through medical research
CAFOD provides emergency food and medical aid to starving and struggling communities in the Third World
Save The Children which provides help to children who are living in poverty or danger or ill health around the world.
Throughout the year we will be engaging in a number of projects to raise awareness and sponsorship for our chosen charities.
