10 questions
- What is your
favourite type of food/meal? I like home-cooked food so long as it’s not me that has to cook it!
- What is the best book
you have ever read? The books I most enjoyed are Wonderland
Avenue by Danny Sugarman or Valley
of the Dolls. I don’t think that they are the best books ever written
but they certainly got my attention which is all I am really looking for.
- What is your
favourite film/television programme? My favourite film is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It reminds me of my childhood
and watching it with my grandparents and no other film makes me nearly as happy
when I watch them. My favourite television programme changes all the time. I
like anything that isn’t soaps or reality TV really.
- What is the best
place you have visited and where would you like to go to most? I would really like to walk the Inca Trial to Machu Piccu
in Peru. I watched a couple of documentaries on it a couple of years ago and it
looked incredible.
- Do you have any
hobbies or past times that you enjoy? I always struggled answering these kinds of questions. Is it really boring to
say that I don’t really have any hobbies? On the rare occasions that I have
free time, I just like to spend time with my family. I have two young children
and they keep me pretty well entertained. I like reading and watching action or
science fiction movies.
- Who would you most
like to meet/most admire? I don’t really know how to answer that question. If I met someone famous that I
have liked for a long time I wouldn’t know what to talk to them about – I might
have been listening or watching and admiring them for years but they have no
idea who I am do they?
- What is your
favourite song, album or artist? Oh I can’t possibly answer that. Music plays in my house all the time. I like
everything from heavy metal to folk music, dance music to rock music and
everything in between. If I had to choose an album that I go back to the most
often or that I have listened to the most I guess it would be Meatloaf, Bat Out
of Hell. I have been a Meatloaf fan for as long as I can remember and I don’t
care who knows it!
- What do you most like
about your job? I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since being 10 years old. I like that it’s the job I
always wanted. I like when a Client thinks that their problem is insurmountable
and I can fix it for them.
- If you didn't work
for Fylde Law, what would you most like to be doing? I like my job and I like working for Fylde Law. I have worked for a few
different solicitors firms and I wouldn’t like to work anywhere else.
- Tell us a joke......Two whales walk into a
bar.The first whale says to the other, "WOOOOOOO. WEEEEEEEEEEOOOOO.
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.” The second whale says, "Shut up Steve, you’re drunk.”
