Please note VAT is charged at 20% or the prevailing rate if different.

  • Re-mortgage with high street lender – £380.00 plus VAT at 20%
  • Equity release mortgage – £430.00 plus VAT at 20%
  • Please note that mortgages/remortgages with non-high street lenders will require an individual quote with fees dependent on the lender’s requirements.
  • Additional fees
  • CHAPS transfer fee – £25 plus VAT at 20%
  • ID verification fee – £6 plus VAT at 20% per name


  • Searches – £150.00
  • Official copy entries – £6.00 per title
  • Land registry search – £3.00 per title
  • Bankruptcy search – £2.00 per name

Mortgage amount up to £100,000£20.00
£100,001 to £200,000£30.00
£200,001 to £500,000£45.00
£500,001 to £1,000,000£65.00

* Fees are based on the electronic registration of mortgages through the Land Registry.

Our mortgage/remortgage fees include:

  1. Obtaining copies of title documentation from HM Land Registry
  2. Dealing with lender’s title queries
  3. Obtaining a redemption figure for your existing mortgage (if any)
  4. Complete the mortgage and register the same at HM Land Registry.
